Q. Why are we changing health care vendors?
A: The contract for Kwajalein Medical Services was competed in a fair and open competition. Acuity International was determined to be the best value for the U.S. Government and the Kwajalein community.
Q. When will the transition be completed?
A: Acuity International is in the process of transitioning all medical services. We anticipate this process to be completed no later than October 12, 2024. We are working diligently to expedite the process and minimize any risk of disruption in service.
Q. Do I have to worry about losing my coverage?
A: There will be no change in the population that is currently covered. Acuity International is excited to become a part of the community of Kwajalein and looks forward to providing health care services to all personnel supporting the program.
Q. Will this change impact my current coverage and health care?
A: Acuity International is an established leader in providing healthcare services in remote locations. We continually receive excellent performance and customer satisfaction ratings. You should not expect changes to your current health care coverage.
